Spot UV

Process Description
UV can be divided into full-area UV and spot UV. Full-area UV is a surface process, while spot UV is a decorative process. Spot UV is a technique where a local area of the substrate is printed with varnish and then cured by ultraviolet light to achieve a partial glossy effect. This process endows the printed matter with higher glossiness, transparency, and wear resistance in specific areas.
Features
Printed items treated with spot UV have a more textured and three-dimensional surface, highlighting the visual effect of local glossy areas.
